How do I tell you what colors I want?

Submitting your colors is easy! Once you have your colors ready, simply fill out our online Color Release Form.

What are your exterior paint warranties?

All of our services come with a warranty including exterior and interior painting, roofing, and even holiday lights!

Exterior painting has three standard options to choose from, which you can learn more about on our exterior painting warranty page.
Interior Painting projects come with a 1 year workmanship warranty
Roofing projects receive a 5 year warranty

Are you a local Colorado Painter?

We are a proud, locally and family-owned Colorado company based right here in Denver. Our team is currently able to service most of the Denver metro area.

Can you help with wood replacement or gutter repair?

We’re a one stop shop for your exteriors. We have outstanding woodwork and gutter teams that can assist with your wood and gutter replacement needs.

Currently, we can only offer these services in addition to an exterior or interior project. We do not offer any woodwork or gutter only services.

Can you submit colors to my HOA for me?

Unfortunately, most HOAs want to work with homeowners directly; however, we’ll help this process in anyway we can. If you’re not sure where to start, we’d recommend contacting your HOA for more information about their specific process. Keep in mind that most HOAs take 7-60 days for color approval and the summer and fall are their busiest times of year.
Are your with HRCA? Well you’re in luck because we CAN submit your colors for you. You can also follow our step-by-step guide to submit yourself!

What is the difference between one coat and two coats?

Industry wide there can be a lot of confusion about one coat vs. two coats. We’re committed to providing you with the highest quality finished product so we don’t charge per coat and we use top of the line products that offer the highest coverage. We guarantee our full coverage on your paint project. This means we will apply as much paint as we need to in order to get the job done and get the coverage we’re looking for.

Do you help with color selection?

Choosing the right paint colors can be incredibly stressful, so we have countless tools to help with this step. We offer professional color consultations with our in-house Color Specialists, Lexi Thompson and Yasmine Kot, and we are more than happy to set you up with a consultation.

Are you Lead Certified?

If your home tests positive for lead (we’ll test it for you at your estimate) then it’s critical that the correct steps are followed to ensure safety on your project. Kind Home Solutions is a lead certified painter who can take care of properly and safely painting your home. Check out the Lead Process more.

What time will they be out for my woodwork or gutter replacement?

We typically address multiple projects within a single day so we can’t promise crew arrival times for wood or gutter replacement. Since we can’t provide you with that time, we do take extra steps to ensure you do not need to be home for these services. Our crews are typically out sometime between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm Monday through Friday.

Are your estimates free?

Of course! Our estimates are completely free, no obligation and we can typically write up a quote right there one the spot.

Is Kind Home Solutions insured?

Kind Home Solutions is fully insured with $2,000,000 in general liability and worker’s comp.

How long does an exterior painting project take?

The length of your project depends on the size of your home and the level of difficulty in painting however, most homes only take 1-3 days from start to finish and always strive to work on consecutive days.

Which paints do you use?

Every project is different however and we’ll work with you to find the best product solution for your home. Our goal is to make sure you receive the best service with the most long lasting and high quality paint possible. So, naturally we specialize in applying top of the line paint from Sherwin Williams and Benjamin Moore.

What is a VOC?

VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds) are found in many manufactured products that you use in your home everyday. This is one of the reasons the air indoors is 10x more polluted than the air outside. All of the paint products we use meet the most stringent VOC regulations, keeping you and your family safe.

I have hail damage, can you work with insurance?

Absolutely! We have years of experience working with insurance and we can streamline your project by taking care of your paint, repair, and roofing needs. Give your insurance a call after a storm so you can have an adjuster come out and we’ll provide you a comprehensive, independent damage inspection. You can even schedule your inspection online.

What does your warranty cover?

We believe in creating paint jobs that will last. Our warranty covers all workmanship, so that means any bubbling, peeling, etc. We have a one-of-a-kind warranty that we believe is the best in the state. Our No Exclusions warranty covers EVERYTHING!

We’ll even cover up to $1,000 worth of hail damage to your paint!

Do you paint behind shutters?

Our standard policy when it comes to pre-existing shutters is to paint the shutters while they are attached to the home. We do this because most shutters here in Colorado are not installed with the ability to open and close. When removing pre-existing shutters, there is a very large risk that the shutter will be damaged so we do recommend leaving the shutters as they are when painting your exterior. If you plan to purchase new shutters we are able to take down your old ones and paint and install the new ones, so that is an option!
